Over what timeframe does DeepNews store news?
Currently DeepNews stores news for one month.
Currently DeepNews stores news for one month.
DeepNews decomposes the set of all news into topics using its AI and NLP technology. Topics emerge continuously, stay current for one or more days, and then usually disappear.
DeepNews determines for each topic its relevance. This takes into account the number of articles making up the topic and their time weight (newer: more weight).
Then DeepNews prioritizes the topics per category and determines per topic by which article it is represented. Here, novelty, source and quality are determining factors.
Touching on an article or on 'perspectives on this topic' opens the DeepDive view on the topic of the article.
The DeepDive displays not just a single article, but all the news items defining the article topic, along with the Wikipedia entries of the actors.
